In their own words, Nicky Vere-Compton is 'a short fat autistic queer who sings Baritone while making you laugh'. Their dark, anarchic and subversive sense of humor and character comedy has seen them nominated for Neurodiverse Reviews' Actually Autistic Award in 2024 for their show Freaks and Fools and gain rave reviews from publications and audiences alike. They have appeared on the same bill as big names such as Steven K Amos, played at every kind of venue including the Troy Club and the Backyard Comedy Club in London, and headlined gigs such as GnB comedy, sunset comedy, dead leg comedy and virtue comedy. They even proudly led the UK Pie Party, taking pies to the face to raise funds for cancer charities. Through all of Nicky's characters and jokes they aim to push the boundaries of how you see autism in this world (but not in an edgelord kind of way).
